Curriculum & Instruction

At Drury High School we are committed to bringing students an engaging and diverse educational experience, preparing all learners for the challenges of life in the 21st century.

Our academic departments work in coordination with the administration to develop and revise the curriculum and instructional practices within the classroom, setting high standards for achievement and providing support services to ensure that every student gains access to a high-quality education.

The curriculum at Drury emphasizes the acquisition and refinement of skills -- skills that will serve students well, no matter their prospective careers. At Drury, we promote project-based learning, critical thinking, writing across the curriculum, and standards-based instruction, using up-to-date technology to make lessons relevant to the lives of our students.

Our Program of Studies demonstrates the broad range of courses available, and outside-the-classroom opportunities abound, from after-school programs to internships. Students at Drury will find plenty of such challenging opportunities during their years at the high school.

Please do not hesitate to contact the school with any questions you might have. We are committed to working with the community to ensure the best possible education for our students.
